I've tried moving the first message that I don't have on thunderbird out of my inbox as I've heard that a malformed header can cause this problem, however that hasn't seemed to make any difference.Ĭhecking the error console after trying to get new messages gives this error:Įrror: uncaught exception: " nsresult: "0x8055000a ()" location: "JS frame :: chrome://messenger/content/mailWindowOverlay.js :: GetNewMsgs :: line 2346" data: no] When I try to get new messages, Thunderbird just says checking Inbox for new messages and the progress bar just keeps running but the new messages aren't downloaded and it doesn't look like anything is happening.
I can download new messages fine from my Google account however, when I try to download email from my Hotmail account, thunderbird doesn't download my email. My problem is as follows, I'm using Thunderbird to back up email from two webmail accounts (a Google and a Hotmail account). Settings to interact with the account are:
